Photoshop Month – The Move Tool

The move tool is the mouse cursor icon in the top right of the tool panel, it is selected by pressing V.
This tool is very straight forward and as you can imagine it deals with moving around your layers in Photoshop.
It is important to note that when using other tools in Photoshop that this move tool will need to be reselected if you require to shift a layer you were working with.
Other things to mention regarding using this tool with others we have covered are that you can move around selections you have made without you having to recreate the selection.
Oftenly with tools such as the move tool, it seems the simplest but can often be the most powerful.
