This Years Veolia Environment Wildlife Photographer of the year was José Luis Rodríguez from Spain with the The Storybook wolf.

He managed to capture this image by baiting a corral with meat, and once he realized that a male wolf visited regularily he waited until he jumped the gate to get to the meat. The idea came from when Iberian wolves first returned to Avila in the northern area of Spain, cattle farmers too an obvious disliking to them and declared war on them.
